Newegg has the Seagate ST1000LM014 Momentus 1TB 64MB Cache 2.5" Solid State Hybrid Notebook Drive for $130 - $15 off with coupon code SGTPAX201315 = $115 with free shipping. Features SSD-like performance with hard drive capacity, Adaptive Memory technology to optimize performance, and measures just 9.5mm thick.
As usual, Seagate is blowing their horn. This is a 5400 RPM drive, so throughput will not be as fast as a 7200 RPM drive. If only small amounts of data are used, the drive will perform better than a non-hybrid drive. I wouldn't buy one of these unless it was the same price as any other 1TB drive. (and this one is not)
This 1TB is only a 5400RPM, I'd pass on this. You have to be careful with the model numbers. The 750GB is a 7200RPM but the 500GB can be 5400RPM or 7200RPM. I only see the point in using these drives if you still have to run XP & you want some additional speed. If you are running Windows 7 or higher go with an SSD or a dual drive setup in a desktop if you need the extra space.

my paging and hibernation files alone are 16gb. Anything less than 32gb of flash makes a hybrid drive too compromised.
