    Seagate's are the best HD manufacturer. 1TB for 154 is a win-win.

#3, don't forget you are using two drives not one for that reasoning.

#6 - why not buy one more and run a raid-5? You'll get a lot more space usage than just mirroring.....

Ben, damn you and you're irresistible bargains. I just -had- to order one of these.

I -did- manage to resist the $19.99 (after MIR, ends 5/5/0Cool deal on a Thermaltake BlacX 2.5"/3.5" SATA HDD USB dock, though.

If this is the same drive they use in the Freeagent external drives, this is a very good drive. I've been using 2x 500gb Freeagent Drives and they're fast, quiet, and reliable (so far).

I have one; around Christmas they weren't coming below $99. Seagate aren't bad and the 5-year warranty sounds good (although by then we'll all be looking at 5 terabyte drives or some insane size that I can't quite get my head around. If you need a drive and don't want 1TB, go for it.

#17, remember in 5 years, lossless audio and 20gb HD movies will be the norm...
