Seagate? No thanks. Try it, see how often they failed. I have a Western Digital for 5 years already & no problem. My buddy drop a seagate 500 GB portable drive on carpet from about 1 foot height and resulted in a dead drive. I have dropped my from a 1.5 foot elevation on some PVC(PolyVinyl Composite) tiles resulted in no problem for 8 months already.
costco in store and on line also same price
7200 rpm
2 year warranty
I remember last year no one got any of these and I didn't have the money to get one so I hid all of them somewhere in the store.

I was starting to regret the 1tb wd drive i bought for $50 until I saw #4s comment. Thanks for the confidence
Don't count on any drive surviving a fall, in fact if I drop one I no longer consider it reliable even if it still seems to work fine.
