yesterday i was checking some of my emails and noticed that NE sent out some 10% off coupons.
while the codes are not unique, they are tied to the accounts, meaning you cant use the code unless it is authorized for your account.
I keep signing up for NewEgg emails. I receive the email confirmation about signup, but then don't receive any promotional emails. Nice.

^^ I had that problem for a while when 'egg changed something about their email server. They had me add them to my contacts list which didn't help, then finally decided my email service was blocking their emails which I'm not confident was correct since I had the ability to turn off spam filtering on the account too but it didn't make a difference, plus they were the only sender I expected but didn't receive email from.
Finally I just gave up and changed my 'egg email address to @Gmail.com and started getting the emails again.
