crazy price.. i remember paying 110 for one
Isn't 1TB about $30 more?
got a refurb from Woot for $50 - this is a fair price.
I've run the refurb for about a month now with zero errors.
seems like an alright price, but, @2: yes, i did see a 1tb for only $100 just yesterday
not a bad drive as you can see (7200.11) it has the latest f/w. this drive performs great with all the controllers. i would say it is expensive by say $15-$17
this is a good deal if you are poor
$30 for another 500gb is a better value. That TB drive is the way to go.
most of the 1 TB drives I have found that are around $100 usually have a smaller cache and are only 5400 RPM. This is a good price for a reliable brand of drive and if you need a drive for high performance gaming or video editing I would go for quality over quantity. If you need a drive to store movies, songs or videos from your hidden shower cam then I would just pick up a run of the mill TB drive.
I noticed a pretty big jump from 8-16MB cache. How's the jump from 16-32MB?
