Agree with #1, Amazon FTW. You never know with ebay sellers, even the ones with high feedback. Amazon is a known quantity as far as the best return policy & customer service in the biz.
I have to disagree with the Amazon comments.
I have had more problems with them then any other site on the net.
Mainly with their so called "marketplace" but Amazon direct as well.
And their shipping times are always wack for some reason.

Have to throw my "pro-Amazon" comment in...they are undoubtedly the best retailer out there...I've NEVER had an issue with anything I have bought from them customer service wise....and I have bought a LOT off their site.

Newegg has this exact drive for $149.99 and free shipping. To boot, Newegg ground shipping is basically overnight to the NYC area and they offer good warranty support.

It was really bad in 2010 as you will read and thats when I stopped using Amazon.
On avearage it took 10-14 days to get items.
People are still having problems in 2012 as well.

I've never not received any order I've placed in the last two years beyond two business days.
Of course I have Prime so maybe that's the difference.
Amazon's 3rd party seller shipments tend to take longer to get to me when the order ships via Fedex Smartpost, about 2 or 3 addt'l days, though I am rarely in such a hurry that I can't wait the extra couple days.
