This is not reasonable. It is the SAME PRICE as last month. It used to be 60 dollars for 2 TB with five year warranty. now its 60 dollars for 1 TB with less warranty.
Bare drives NEVER came with 5 YEAR WARRANTY. Only RETAIL KITS came with 5 year warranty. Retail kits never were $60. AND those that were on sale were the SATA II 32mb cache drives which were being closed out, not the SATA III 64mb cache HDs.
starting to get reasonable again
Knowing it's a Seagate it's probably gonna die after 1 year thus the 2 year warranty.
What happened to 5 year warranty?
^ it washed away in the rain?
