This is a wonderfully fast drive if you have USB3.0 ports on your computer. It does not have the same problems as the older Expansion 1.5TB drive that I used to own. I purchased it a few months ago for $140 when I need to transfer a large amount of data.
got mine - sprung for the $8 ext warranty. gonna run it 24/7 torrenting on my no-moving-parts Shuttle. At 7200 RPM it should be fast external USB 2. Mysterious Amazon $13n cr made it < $100 all in.
