I got this for $140 two months ago. It is quiet and works great. Very speedy. Much faster than my old 1.5TB Expansion drive and none of the problems.
I've seen 3 of these recently. 2 of them had died in less than 2 months, the 3rd one was to replace the second. I don't think either owner will buy another Seagate drive.
