i wonder if i can break this open and stick it in a laptop. $90 for a 2.5" 750GB is a good deal! (i know i'll be using that $20 gc at newegg in the near future)
Carefull... they may ship you a demo version of this thing...just made of plastic with no moving parts.
#1, should be no problem using it in your laptop as long as the laptop uses a SATA connection (as opposed to IDE).
This is an oversized 2.5" drive, so it may be too thick for your laptop.
"Other Thoughts: I opened it up to see if I could use it inside my laptop, and the drive isn't a normal size 2.5" drive. Doesn't matter really I'll just use it for storing movies and VM's. "
