    good price.. you could even remove the drive to put in your computer and it would be a decent deal.

    My first FreeAgent 1.5T died within 24 hours. The replacement gave up the ghost within a month. My advice: just say no.

    BTW, to remove the drive from the housing will probably do serious damage to the housing. It looks like it's sonic welded to me. It might be snaps but it's not obvious.

    To even things out, I have to add that I have this drive and have not had any problems...yet! : ) The backup software is good as well.

    i just bought one from dell, it only have 1.3TB,the max space of the harddrive is 1.4TB,but they sell as 1.5TB.
