Great price. I was worried they weren't going to let it go this cheap since the firmware bugs were fixed. I'm in for one.

Seagate is now second in the hd's behing Western Digital, according recent posts. I still prefer Seagate over any. They stand behind their warranty.

Not so good reviews on newegg for this drive. i'd stay away.

When your data goes down the toilet, they send you a refurbed replacement drive? just like everyone else?

On Newegg 51% one star (lowest possible) due to drive dying, I would run. In addition, if you get these big drives use a backup scheme, I backup one for one on my 750 gig drives.
