Nice leather case, but why does the dock require two usb ports when the drive by itself only requires one?

it only needs two usb ports if using on USB 1.1, usb 2.0 only requires one of them.

Thx #2 - makes sense. BTW, the drive is great, dock is high quality, weighted and has a look n feel of an apple design. The hard drive lights are something to behold.
