Same price on Amazon with free two-day shipping. Pretty lame device...no HDMI connection, component and composite only. Spend a little more and get the Patriot Box Office. No hard drive included, but a much better unit.
get the FAT+, much better overall product
None of these devices are that great yet. I have the Patriot Box Office and despite it offered all the bells and whistles specs-wise it's just not a great performer. The main issue with Patriot is the video is jerky in fast-panning scenes...even if playing directly off the local hard drive. Very lame.
many of the new bluray players support DivXHD which now uses MKV containers. Unofficially, these players will play MKV and some support NTFS from the USB port.
I gave up on these completely. Now, I just go to the corner and grab some of those Mexican day laborers and have them re-enact the movies for me.
