#1, please note that the hard drive you're trying to sell here will not fit in a laptop since it's an inch too wide.
Most desktop parts are cheaper than laptop parts but they are generally not interchangeable. I've yet to see a laptop that has a drive bay large enough for a 3.5" drive...

#1 Finally I understand why you complain at every 500GB laptop HDD tread and give out incredible price-You are talking about 3.5" HDD not 2.5" --- Hitachi 2.5"HDD is TRAVRLSTAR not Deskstar...
BTW, anyone knows if this drive is reliable ??? I like Hitachi Travelstar more than seagate drives....

Sorry folks, I made a mistake. Plus apologies to Ben on this one. Thought it *was* a travelstar. Travelstar is fine.
BTW, the SOB's at HP cancelled my order for their $45 500GB saying that it was a price mistake because their regular price for a 2.5 in 500GB is $225.
Hope that HP tanks and eats their HP delusions. I haven't purchased anything from HP for years, now see that nothing there has changed.
