#1, please note that the hard drive you're trying to sell here will not fit in a laptop since it's an inch too wide.
Most desktop parts are cheaper than laptop parts but they are generally not interchangeable. I've yet to see a laptop that has a drive bay large enough for a 3.5" drive...

BTW, the SOB's at HP cancelled my order for their $45 500GB saying that it was a price mistake because their regular price for a 2.5 in 500GB is $225.
Hope that HP tanks and eats their HP delusions. I haven't purchased anything from HP for years, now see that nothing there has changed.
