    #2 Same price at dell.

With my office discount at dell, the 500 GB 7200 RPM Momentus 7200.4 drive was only $58 Smile, while this drive is $86 (so much for the discount)

i don't understand y someone would buy an internal for a laptop when externals are so much cheaper and more portable. Wouldn't it be smarter to just buy externals or a dock?

#5 cause maybe someone wants speed and most portable drives are usb which has a max of 25-30mb which isn't that fast.
Maybe you might not need a drive like this, but you're not everyone.
This will go great into any system that wants faster transfer speed without extra baggage.

#7 Because people want to stash more stuff on their laptops. I always love it when ignorant people never understand the difference between a 2.5 and 3.5 hard drive - It expresses their stupidity.

#5 externals more portable than internal? HUH? how is an extra piece of hardware to tote around more portable than one that would be inside a laptop?
