Full of Sh!t? Wha? Just check out the 21% of "NEGATIVE" reviews these lemons have on Newegg. That's just a wee bit over 1 out of 5. A lemon by any other name is still a Seagate..

except there are lots of tards posting the 1 egg reviews. Excerpts from 1 egg reviews, all of these are separate reviews giving it only 1 egg, some with my comment in parenthesis following:
- "I don't own this drive and I never intend owning one."
- "Cons: Ordered this drive 1 hour and 7 minutes after the email was sent and found that the drive was now $10 more than the listed email price." (in other words, the reviewer bought the drive at the price listed on the site, saw it in the cart checkout, then LATER tried to whine about what they bought).
- "Disk access would "lock-up" in external USB, external firewire, and internal configs w/Win2k. Had to apply KB Q817472 to prevent lock-ups." (downrate HDD because of an OS flaw??)
- "Cons: Purchased two of these... Both came out of a box (first time I have seen that from newegg) AND they came WITHOUT the mounting screws AND without the freaking sata cable, Luckly I had a spare but I had to disable one of my DVD drives for the time being so I can test the drive"
(product description states "bare drive", no pictures include any of screws or a cable, and that takes a product from 5 eggs down to 1??)
- "Cons: Windows recognized the new HDD and asked that I format to use it. Proceeded with a 'quick' format, but comes back "windows was unable to complete the format" error message. This is the second drive wit
S There are lots of tards posting on here too. Like #6 for example....
You don't feel that it's bacon challenged to downrate a product if you have a problem that in no way relates to anything specific to that particular product versus other products?
It looks like they even can't give these lemons away...
#1 archetype,
-- What do you mean? I thought Seagate was known for "fluid bearings" and their failure rate is .02 percent in a 5-year period?
-- Anybody heard that?
#1 is full of sh!t. these drives are quite nice.
