I ordered one.
Not too familiar with these NAS units. Is the software to RAID come with this unit or can you just use the Win Server disk management to do it?
^ The NAS handles RAID itself, no client side software is needed to maintain the RAID volumes and you install the BlackArmor app to discover (it on the LAN) & configure it. It is a separate logical system on the network, Win Disk Management will not be used.
Clients either install the Blackarmor software to access it or a feature can be enabled to allow access through a browser per each user account, including remote access over the internet.
Are you saying that there is no SMB share?
