DirecTV announced at CES that it will be adding a number of new HD channels in mid-2007, many of which are not currently broadcast in HD.

The Weather Channel

This should increase its current 9 national HD channels to as many as 30 HD channels.

I like all those shows except American Chopper. American Chopper was good when it first came out, but it eventually got too repetitive for me. The bikes do look good though.

Ordering from Discovery is not usually the best deal, but this is. Great selection & prices.

I upgraded my cable service from basic 60 channels to 120 on my cable service just for Discover HD.

Discovery is one of my favorite channels. Extreme Engineering and MythBusters are the best shows.
