Using a pair right now, great earbuds for $15.
There is one problem though, the cord picks up noise when it gets bumped around. So I wouldn't use them for jogging. But you can dampen the effect pretty well by wearing a sweatshirt over the cord or tying a string to it and then the vibrations won't get past where it's padded by the fabric.
I've got the same experience as #1
