      these are pretty much the best closed-back, over-ear headphones you're going to get for under $100 and $75 shipped is pretty cheap. Your MP3 player probably isn't strong enough to power them well without an external amplifier though.

      I have these, and they sound amazing. Great sound from my iPod without any amplifier. The cord is coiled.
