I've had a pair of these for awhile and I love them. They provide excellent sound quality and do an excellent job of blocking out environmental noise.

The only drawbacks are that they are a bit bulky and my ears get a bit hot after wearing them for awhile.

headphones should only be used to not bother others, hear good quality for editing, in transit, or shopping or exercising

I've got a pair of Sennheister HD-555's and I love them. For that price, I'd say go for it. I'll never buy a different brand again, they are substantially more comfortable on your head for longer periods of time than the Sony's I used to have.

I own a pair of these and was also raving about them a few posts back when the HD202's were posted. Just as #1 said, they're awesome and I absolutely adore them. They do get a little heavy after extensive use (3-4+ hours I'd say), and I can't compare them to other headphones because I just converted from canalphones but they definitely deliver, and you wont' be disappointed.

Especially for this price, I wouldn't say its a steal, but its a pretty good deal.

wireless headphones are crap. too much distortion. I have these and a pair of HD555's, both are awesome but I like the 555's alot more because they sound better and feel alot more comfortable.

I currently have them on my head listening to online radio. I have two pair and sound is fantastic. Takes a little to break in but once broken in, sound is amazing.

i dont know if i would call it amazing, but i do consider these to be a solid pair of headphones. slight emphasis on bass, but on the whole, this is a really good set of cans for the money. (though i prefer grados and sony v6, some ppl prefer this one more)

I wish there was a place to listen to higher end headphones before purchasing them.

my sennheiser wireless headphones were worth the price. I got them from mycokerewards, coco-cola promotion on the cheap though. They do the job.

      For # 6: the specs for 280Pro
      Frequency Response: 8Hz-25kHz
      Input Impedance: 64 ohm

      HD555
      Frequency Response: 15Hz-28KHz
      Input Impedance: 120 ohm

With a larger Frequency reponse range, seems like 280Pro is better than HD555. What's listening experience between pop music VS watching movie with the 2 headphones? Do you also know what's the difference between the impedance with 64 and 120 ohm?

      Thanks!

Great headphones, but the cord on mine sucks big time. I'm on my third $20 cord.

I'm tempted to get one, but the price tag is a bit pricey. is the difference between this and the $40 one really worth it?

i need a set of headphones for my office and i want them enclosed, circumaural so i can crank the music without anyone hearing it. i know they claim these are very good at keeping ambient noise out, are they just as good keeping your music inside?
