202 is better, and not much more expensive//
The HD202 is noticeably heavier on the bass, which is better if you listen to more bass-heavy music. I switched to the HD201 because the sound is IMO a bit more balanced.
agree with #2, though I'd also call HD202 sound a bit boomy, too much so and lacking a tightly controlled bass... probably due to the closed design with limited space in the cans though that does make them smaller to pack for traveling. Seems you're always making some kind of concession to get the price down, but both are very good values.
