i've got these cans. they're not bad especially at the price.

i do use them for spinning records, and they have enough bass and are loud enough for this application.

Really lacking on the low-end bass.. way too much treble. Very uneven frequency response.

    have to agree with #2.
was very disappointed by the performance.
but it does look good, especially with sennheiser name on it.

I have a set of these.

I'll preface my observation by saying I actually own quite a few sets of different makes and models of headphones. Some people collect beer cans -- I have headphones. Go figure.

This model sounds great for the price. My set, when compared to an audiophile set of cans, sounds a bit mid-bass heavy and midrangy when used with both low-fi sources like 128 bitrate playing iPods and hi-fi sources like quality home audio and sound reinforcement.

I would characterize their sound as anything but treble heavy. I would say they sound a bit compressed.

For the price, any of the Sennheiser models around $25 are a good buy.

i got these last week, i love them so far. cheap, way better then what i had (crappy walgreens buds), and comfortable. i can wear them all day at work no problem. the cord is pretty long but i just route it through the cable hole in the desk.
