great purchase as my sony V700s broke (hinge).. nice and cheap and great reviews on these phones.
was $9.99 at amazon.com 2 weeks ago.
I think the 9.99 set was a different pair, although I can't be sure. Regardless, this is still a good deal on a quality set of phones.
#2 is right. The Sennheiser HD201 were $9.99 at Amazon 2 weeks ago. I got a pair. Not bad sound quality, but not has good as my Sennheiser PC 150s. They are worth $9.99 in my opinion.
great deal, i have one, the quality is wonderful and sound is crystal clear
I'm listening mp3's with these right now. It is worth $9.99 but isn't worth $25. Build quality is good, and has a long cord. But it just doesn't sound right.
I dun get it. This isn't a deal and it gets posted on front page. Amazon has Sandisk Ultra II - 2 Gig Compact Flash for 39.99 and it doens't make it to front page.
How often does Amazon offer these headphones at $9.99?
How well do these headphones cancel out noise?
Cheap for the brand, I got 2 pairs, Good for a cheap gift, but not for regular use. Not 100% happy.
I ordered the HD-202's from here not too long ago. The passive noise blocking works great (some argue that this works better than active noise cancelling). The sound quality is decent, and although many people have claimed that the headphones are too tight on the head, I haven't had any issue of that sort (and I have a big head...7 5/8 cap size). From what I've read, the 201's look nicer and the sound may be slightly better, but the aural seal isn't quite as good as the 202's. I went for the 202's because there's a guy who falls asleep next to my cube at work all the time, so I need to block out as much sound as possible =\
Hope you can make a decision from this.
My friend bought this one and I think it does feel ok but may be a little bit tight. However, the bass is deep in the level of OK not super. Treble is good. Noise blocking is above average as I think that the tightness helps securing your ears and the headphones. So, if you can get it for $10 that's what I call great deal man. $25 is ok not so great you can do better.
