i love Sennheiser, they make great headphone
There's really no fair comparison, they're more comfortable, more accurate, different impedance, better soundstage, totally different target use too since they're too bulky to reasonably wear out in public or carry along with you for portable use.
Best to own one of each type, the earbuds on the road and a full over-ear pair of cans for home use. They are not a closed design though, not much sound isolation.
