Has anyone listened to these? How is the fidelity? How does the wireless range hold up?
I have one. It gets kind of staticy sometimes.
Watch the frequency you put them on (choice of 3 via the little switch in front). They do get static often depending on how you tilt your head. Perfect for about ~20 good feet through walls, ~50-75 feet with signal comparable to a mid-range FM station (I can make it to my mailbox, which is that far from the transmitter). Not for the audio nut; for the person not trying to disturb everyone late at night while puttering around. Not the most comfortable either. I got them refurb for ~$25 and they are worth every penny. I say don't go over $40 new.
I do not know if this one has rechargeable battery and base. But the SENNHEISER RS120 for $63 at Amazon has...
These thigns work great. I agree with #3, it is perfect for about 20 feet even through walls. The only complaint I have is that it some times gets alittle staticy. Its pretty comfortable and the battery life lasts pretty long. I go for about a week or two without recharging while using it about 2-3 hours a day. It come with a few adaptors that you can either plug into a head phone plug, the TV's audio plug, or if you have an entertainment system, its audio plug. Overall, it is great for what it is.
I have a pair of these - paid $45 - and absoutely love them. My wife goes to bed early, so I turn them on and the TV down and watch all the TV I want.
Pros: I can walk across my street and still hear the tv.
Cons: The headset does not drip the head, they slide off if you bend over
Nice cans
A while back Woot.com had the same ones, refurb, for around $26.
this will be a great gift for my dad. Got him sony infareds a while back; but i heard the RF is much better
These are nice and they work well but they can be had for less.
I love my set...
