These are good for holding important papers (will, PoA, etc.) but not valuables. If you lock this thing then the average dumbass robber will just take the whole thing and attempt to break it. It's better to leave the key in so they can open there and see it's all paper junk and leave it behind. IOW, don't think of using it as a safe. Use it a fireproof box that is not locked.
