GOOD LUCK trying to get this to work. I jumped through all the hoops. Created an Alienware account, created a Steam account, gave all kinds of information. There is no "Activate a product on Steam" listed under the Games menu and if I just try to order the game there is nowhere to enter the discount code. A frustrating waste of time (and now potential spammers have my email address, name, real address, telephone#, age, date of birth.....)
Hmm, it is an unusual thing that you're getting a Steam coupon instead of buying a proper game code. Your discount should show up in My Profile / My Inventory menu, which shows your TF2 items & Steam(1) giftables.
Got it. $6 at checkout.
PSST it's a crappy game.
I had no trouble redeeming the coupon. Beta-like quality on Linux, but plays fine on Windows.
