Overstock.com has the Serta Ultimate 4-inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper for $180 - $5 off $100 [Exp 1/31] + $3 shipping = $178 shipped. Buy a King and cut it in half to have two Twin sized portions. Made from 4-pound density rated memory foam, a bad approximation to Tempurpedic's 5.35 lb density. [BizRate]

i recently purchased an 8" memory foam twin size matress ( not just a topper ) from walmart for a little over $200. feels just as good as the ones that cost hundreds more. I have purchased foam toppers in the past and they don't really work like a whole matress made of foam.

#1, nothing comes close to good sex before sleeping Wink

#3: What you say is probably true for 1" or at most 2" toppers. I have the same 4" Serta topper and sometimes I find it too soft and wish I had bought something a bit thinner.

    I don't like a 4" topper.

I brought something like this for my bed which is a 2.5" foam topper plus a 1.5" (more like .5") topper Makes the bed feel much better.

#2 you need to go back to school and learn to read.

"Made from 4-pound density rated memory foam, a bad approximation to Tempurpedic's 5.35 lb density."

Can anyone else point out what Ben was referring to with the 5.35 lb density?

I bought this and sent it back after one week. My wife and I did not like it because:

    1) It made getting into bed a climb since our bed is elevated enough already.

    2) She developed a sore neck within a few days.

    3) I still tossed and turned but it took much more effort.

    4) When I gave her a deeper and frothier foam topping, causing several other parts of her to get sore, she did not complain as much.
