Most refurbs are due to owner error.. not knowing how to hook it up or to set it up properly.. returned then checked and sold as refurbed with a savings to those who know how to use it.

      Most carry the same warranty.

I'd prefer to buy this new at Costco for the same price and 2 yr warranty.

I got this same TV back in January for $1100. Its a great TV. Looks great with PS2 480i games unlike most LCD TVs that doesn't display the ps2 480i correctly.

What refurbs are you referring to #7. Some may be due to customer error, but every refurb item (two) i've purchased has had a 90 day warranty and has had problems making me regret my investment. A refurb is a risk. If you can buy an extended warranty or there is the same warranty then it might be worth it.

Beware the "new" Circuit City's return policy - particularly on stuff like this. Basically, it's your problem - not theirs.

if you decide to purchase this, don't forget that Bing.com offers 15% cashback.

      Final price: $1100-$165-$20 = $915
