Personally, I still don't care for the picture quality, I would go with another brand. Samsung, Sony, Mitsubishi
Have you noticed that the smaller LCDs are not being marked down? Like 22". Something easy to transport but not battery powered.
I have both brands and my Samsung LN52A550 Rules over this one and its 1 1/2 years old try Frys to get it but I admit this is a great price for Sharp

Decent model. Think about it though, this is something you will be using all the time so dont cut corners. I would say samsung, sony, or panasonic. samsung for a realistic dark picture, panasonic for a bright easy to see picture, and sony for in the middle.
Geez, a little too pricey for my budget. Probably just settle for sitting closer to my 19 inch monitor.
