This would make a nice centerpiece of a home theater.

Sharp Aquos are one of the best but not the best LCD's out there. This is a good price and free shipping and no tax is great.

Good to know #18. I thought that the picture looked pretty damn good at costco. Hard to believe that it could get any clearer. I think I'll skip this round. I'm spending my money on guns n ammo before the messiah of /dev/null jacks up the price 500%.

This is a decent HD LCD TV by Sharp. I bought this a year ago for slightly over $2k. I wish I could get one more...

how much is $1400 in seven legged spiders?

real question: does anyone know what the picture on this model stutters when there is moving video/panning going on????
It does not happen on teh sony, samsung & vizio models.
The demo playing att he time was recorded at "24p", thats 24 FPS which is much lower than the 60Hz of the tv.....so im confused. Probably the tv does not smooth frames when the sorce is < 60

Great price, but I'm going to keep waiting... When are the 50 and 52 going to be under $1000?

I got a great deal on a Samsung 46" 650series at Amazon. Just need a Hokie win so I can watch the ACC championship when it gets here next week.

#35, I think the plasma you are talking about is probably still 720p or only 50"?
I will wait till next year to see if the economy is any better before deciding whether to replace my current LCD.
