Isn't this a pretty good deal? I'm trying to decide between this, the Panasonic TC-P55GT30 that I can get open box for $1200, and the Samsung PN50C7000 that I can get open box for $800. We watch a lot of movies, Food Network, Football, UFC, and wrestling.
This is a special low-spec item which is not very good. If the Fry's deal on the Sharp 70-inch for $1499 comes back, that would be best. Of the ones you listed, the Samsung is the better deal in my opinion.
