does anyone see a contrast ratio on this item? i can't find it? anyone? this is so confusing without a contrast ratio listed. i should just google the model number and get the info i'm looking for, but i'll hold out until the ben's deal posters respond with accurate, decisive specifications, as usual.

googled a bunch of sites, and only found this one that gave a number:

      http://www.bestsharpaquoshdtvs.com/sharp-lc40e67un

      Quote:
Superlucent Advanced Super View (ASV) LCD Panel provides pure whites, deep blacks and a vivid range of color thanks to a dynamic contrast ratio up to 27,000:1 and LCD TV industry leading 4ms response time for true film-like smoothness.

#1, no one cares about the contrast ratio. This TV has the Vyper Drive Gaming Mode. What else do you need? Just buy it!

Hold out for something with at least a 28,000:1 contrast ratio.

On the price front, this is a good, but not great deal. We have a local store offering $699, and I'll always take local for $9 - even for a reasonably good eRetailer like 6Ave.
