i got a shuttle with a mobo that's about to crap out on me (keeps telling me i changed my processor when i boot up). anyone know if i have to get another shuttle mobo or if i can somehow tweak a itx board to make it work in there? if i have to shell out $80 or whatever for a new shuttle board, i'd rather build a new rig

Shuttle PC is a piece of sh*t!
Potential problems: power supply, 1.8V RAM, intermittent loss of on-board video.

Once in a while, I had to do reset. If failed, pull out the BIOS chip is a real pain.

#2, Shuttle motherboards are pretty proprietary in size and shape, so replacing them in the case is next to impossible. You might get a mini-itx to work, but as cheap as this is, it'd be easier to just replace it.
