They must be getting ready to release the new cablecard model. This one is useless except for the local channels now that everything is encrypted.

#3 where are you finding this new for $89? I think you are confusing this dual tuner with the single tuner model.

Keep in mind that it has no NTSC tuner so you can't use it with analog cable TV either.
