Of all tuners I used in the past this one is by far the most stable and trouble free. Installed it half a year back and never had to touch it again. SiliconDust promised new triple tuner smart card model for this Christmas season but I never saw it anywhere. For basic cable subscription that I have I could not imagine a better device.
This was a great investment for us until Comcast started scrambling their signal 6 months ago. Before you buy it would be a good idea to check available channels in your area at the link below:
I have a couple of these, I agree that they are great. I'm using MythTV on mine but have friends with good experiences with MS MCE as well. I just use antenna, much better tuner sensitivity than internal card I had before.
