If you get an iPhone you need a data plan since the iPhone gets data pushed onto it so if you don't have a data plan you will rack up a large phone bill at the end of the month. You can get the $19 data plan instead of the 3G plan if you have it unlocked. Edge is pretty slow compare to 3G.
T-mobile is barely rolling out their 3G network this month but their data plans are cheaper than at&t. I heard Verizon is switching to GSM soon. Can anyone confirm this?
Did I miss a comment or did no one confirm this thing actually unlocks the 2nd gen iPhone?
