Are SIRIUS radios really all that? Having never actually looked much at them, I've no idea what to expect.

Sirius is the bomb. I've had it since Stern moved. I've driven around town (hickville) and in major bacon-lust areas, don't ever drop signal. Now.. the product itself. It doesn't really matter what radio you get, they all get the same reception, but I like the sportster with the bigger display. The music is pretty good. Sometimes, like regular radio, there is some redundancy, but overall, I won't go back.

#2, Sirius is better than regular radio. Music selection is better since plain old radio programming is now controlled by a single company, Clear Channel, and they are paid to push certain artists.

OK, gomer you shouldn't leave batteries like that in the flashlight... Just because the batteries died after you left it in the flashlight for three months doesn't necessarily mean that the batteries suck. If you leave batteries in any device, it completes a circuit. Even if you don't turn on the device, a current can flow. This may be due to the fact that not all batteries have the same voltage stored in them For example, you may have 1.5V batteries but each battery is obviously not going to have EXACTLY that voltage. When two batteries are connected in series and have different voltages, one tries to charge the other. This may cause damage to the batteries since these batteries are not meant to be charged. So some battery cells may have been damaged by this process and thus breaks the circuit. Or maybe the batteries just drained in the circuit. Coulda been the battery life too.

These batteries seem fine to me

My brother uses Sirius, and he really likes them. He has "unique" taste in music and can find just about any station he wants on it.
