I bought this unit several years ago, but the package that I bought also had the wireless autodialer included. Additionally I bought a water sensor with the unit so I could tell if the basement was flooding without going down there each rain storm. Everything works great. The batteries in the remote transmitters work for about 2 years. I don't use the IR sensor because of the cats... and in the middle of the night a false alarm can be unnerving.
[edit: I note that the 'wireless auto dialer I mentioned above has wireless communication between the alarm system and the dialer. The dialer itself does not communicate over cell phone service]
