not a bad price, pro hd is the one to go with nowadays anyway if you're going to get a slingbox
Would be nicer if it had HDMI inputs, but no recorder or device of this nature will.
my router is quite far away from my dish receiver. how do I set this up?
Dish network's newer receivers are slinbox capable
how'd the hd content? I would imagine its pretty choppy?
#4 Yeah, but #3 still needs to feed the slingbox output to the router. Maybe a wireless bridge?
If this Pro HD box does not provide good HD Tx, is there another mfg. that does?
I don't know about this company lately. I've had the Pro for a number of years but since the founders sold out the software has gotten flakey.
When I'm traveling and using my netbook to watch the slingbox it tells me I need to update my slingbox software then warns me not to using the netbook but to use the wired computer (wise of course). When I get to the wired computer is says I have the latest version. Huh?
I have other issues also. For the first few years the SW was faultess but not anymore.
This is still expensive.
