Things seem to be going bad at Slingbox since they were bought out. I know of three people besides myself that have had problems afrer updating the firmware in units that have worked great for years.
It took me 3 weeks of messing around on various forums to finally get mine up again. And I don't like the configuration I had to use. Two others are now working but the third one is still belly up.
