I built one with an old 14" laptop - huge screen and with wifi, no need to insert cards.
just what everyone wants on their office desk next to their other laptop or on that nic-knack shelf....an old laptop.
i ordered one for the out-of-town family. there are better ones out there, but not for the money. others are larger, include a remote, and allow you to adjust the speed of the slideshow....not this one but who cares for this price. same one is $119 on amazon and i couldn't find any similiar for less than $95.
yes, I built one with my old laptop too. But simplicity is very important. Will you give your 14" laptop picture frame to your grandparents and tell them to upload the picture via Wifi? Maybe your grandparents, but not mine.
Yeah, that's my problem--the people in my family who want this kind of thing would struggle to run even this one, much less a wi-fi connection.
that sucks, the price jumped up 20 dollars. so after the google discount it's 70. awww booo. i guess it's still a good price though.

You have to add the item to your cart to see the discounted price. Thats why it says "when added to cart" in the description.

Anyone having long shipping times with RitzCamera.com while using google checkout? I ordered a printer and it says"usually ships 24 hours". IT took a week to ship. The billing department was "processing my order." I guess it takes longer with google checkout.
As long as I get it by Christmas...
i've had problem with google checkout all day....but eventually it gets through.
This is the same frame that was part of Circuit City's Black Friday sale....$84.99 and a $35 CC MIR....so this is an awesome deal with no rebates.
