iPods are killing all market
yes or no, #1! sony always has better sound quality. but for this sony mp3 player, yeah, for just by looking at it...just doesn't get my interest.

view videos and photographs in rich color, either horizontally or vertically..... what does rich color have anything to do with that??
you can watch videos in either orientation, and those videos will be in color, what's not to get?
Still think Sony is "too little too late" in the MP3 market...
I'm surprised it doesn't accept duo pro memory
The MP3 market is now where the Palm Pilot market was 5 years ago. The products must now converge with other things. The Nokia 800 (see deal earlier today), iPod Touch, and Zune now must do more things than just play music.
This Sony device should have been made 4 years ago. But back then they were still hawking Mini-Disc and the ATRAC format. I guess better late than never.
Change is the only constant.
I will pass...
sony doesn't want their players to be too easy to use, #6 because it's also a media company and wants you to pay to have the content delivered to you in as many different formats and as often as possible.
the most functional players seem to be made by companies mainly involved in the tech industry and not so much the media industry.
The 8GB version of this player has the highest rating in CR mag. But I think I need more memory, and an FM tuner.
I didn't know they were still using the Walkman name
