What a rip off. First, it's eScam selling it, second, it's far too much for a refurb 4gb player.
"eScam?" is this company known for scams or poor service? I've never bought something from ecost before, and I don't know anyone who has.
ecost is well known for their shady biz. Although the price is qutie attractive, I'd stay away from them.
Also, stay away from TigerDirect.
ecost sold me a counterfeit h700 bt headset and refused to take it back and/or refund my money. Stay far away from ecost.

I have the 2GB version and it's the best sounding MP3 player I've ever owned. Can't speak about this company or it being a refurb though.

Yes #3, I bought a Soyo 26" lcd monitor from Tigerdirect, they sent me a refurbished one in a battered box.
#10 -- You bought a Soyo from Tiger... the only rebate(s) I never got and that was like back in 2001. I've probably done upwards of 60 rebates since then for computer related things. That combination was the only one I challenged and never got anywhere with, heck I only can think of one other challenge and that one came through.
