@ fossil Sony is doing very fine.

Sony is very popular with women and people who own other Sony cameras and want to move up to DSR for a special trip or event or to learn more about photography. The lower end DSLR models (2xx-5xx) have a wonderful interface for the beginner (or anyone really).
