i was thinking of buying this guy, but i couldnt find if this one has trickle charge, does anyone know?
quick chargers generally charge at 500mah and up definitly not for tirckling
It can be rigged to have a tickle charge with the right wiring and metal dong.
Yes, it trickles but only after the rapid charge cycle. In other words, it might as well not trickle as you shouldn't leave cells in a rapid charger after the rapid portion is done. Even on those rapid chargers with thermal shutoff, you'd have to be actively overheating the cells for that to save them which degrades their life.
That doesn't necessarily make this a bad deal, Sony relabels Panasonic cells so figuring they're usually about $10 a 4 pack, $10 to get the charger and delivery isnt' too bad, if you need $5 more stuff to get the free ship.
is it the best charger on earth? Of course not, when can you not pay multiple times as much for something better?
