Wow. That's the lowest I've seen yet. Can't wait to get a burner when they are affordable.

Wow this is like back when DVDs were first coming out...The stand alone players were over a $1000 so I got a Creative DVD player for the computer for a little over a $100 and watched them.

Gotta laugh. Just cleaned out an attic and found a cd reader 16X
that was bought at compusa years ago for $149! The box was near my first computer box which was a 486 dx2 50 with 4mb ram 2 floppys etc . That cost $1500!

I'm setting the price: $60.00. When that price is met, average people will start to take a serious look at any brand Blew-Ray drive for computer/movie use. Until then, not a buy.

115 is much better than the 500 dell charges to put blu ray on your pc. what a ripoff.

#8 your price is 3x too high for an optical reader. Maybe $60 for a BlewRay burner would be somewhat tempting.
Heck I'll never buy an BR discs anyway, so what do I care. HiDef downloads are the way to go

#11 has it right.. By the time BR burners and media drop to a reasonable level hard drives will be insanely cheap and high speed internet will be nearly everywhere. Spewray is missing the boat. It will have the staying power of the 8 track players.
