Undeniably a great price. I paid $1,900 for a smaller 40" Bravia in December '06. Yikes!

Saw this model, open box/returned at bestbuy for $1050 today. Paying sales tax on top of that makes the dell deal even better.

8 ms response time is equivalent to 1/8ms = 125 Hz. I'm sure it is still faster than the 60 Hz response time so you won't notice any actual improvement. The LCD can have 8ms response time and 120 Hz refresh rate.
Damn, now if only that coupon code still actually worked...
V series is a bit meh. Try for W or better.
